Ayurveda recognizes that there are 117 primary Marma points, each infused with prana - the life force that sustains us. These vital points are understood as gateways to the body’s physical, energetic, and subtle systems. Through gentle, intentional touch, Marma Therapy works with these points to encourage balance within the nervous system, energy channels, tissues, and organs.
Each session includes a personalized Marma Therapy session, with specific marma points thoughtfully selected and gently pressed according to your current state of imbalance, wellness concerns and individual health goals. Your practitioner works intuitively and intentionally with the body's vital points to create a treatment experience that is unique to you and responsive to what your body, mind, and spirit need for reharmonizing.
With each session, we create space to unwind patterns of tension, support healthy circulation of prana, calm the mind, kindle digestive fire, and encourage deeper connection between the physical and subtle body. Marma Therapy may support pain relief, stress reduction, healthy digestion and metabolism, detoxification, emotional release, and preventative care while nourishing and rejuvenating the whole self.
